Your new home has been designed and built to meet the Code for Sustainable Housing which is a mandatory code introduced by the government in 2008. The code covers areas such as energy, water usage, materials, waste, pollution, health and ecology.

New homes are far more energy efficient than older properties, helping to protect the environment and save home owners money too!

New Homes Marketing Board promotes the benefits of new homes, particularly the energy saving and environmental advantages. See www.nhmb.co.uk for more information

Your new home has been built with highly efficient heating systems, double glazed doors and windows, insulated ground floors and high levels of roof and wall insulation and more, such as renewable energy sources where practicable. As well as savings on average energy costs compared with older-style homes a new home generates more than 60 per cent less CO2 emissions, which is the equivalent of taking one car off British roads or driving 10,000 miles less a year per household.

With every increasing energy bills there has never been a better time to consider buying a new home. The money saved on energy bills in a new home can be put towards mortgage repayments or other vital household costs.
